Major changes, which are happening in the support card rules, will now have difficulties
- In the Aadhaar card, many changes were easily changed in the first place. But now, under the General Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), there is going to be a change in the rules for updating any item. This new rule will be applicable from January 2019. The rules, which are going to change, include birthdate and address.
- Birthdate changes will be difficult
- UIDAI has announced a new notification, under which it will now be difficult for the citizens to change their date of birth. Now any person can only change their birth center at one of their nearest support centers only once. The second time the change in birthdate will be done at the UIDAI Regional Office and the applicant will have to attend it manually.
- The post will not change
- Any change will not be accepted through posting based on January 2019. So far, the applicant sent the form to edit any kind of modification through the post. But any update will be done on the UIDAI portal or the nearest center in the new year.
- PIN change will change in address
- If an applicant has to make an address change in his support card, he will not be too urgent. When an application wants to change the address in the card, it will have to send a PIN from the UIDAI to the new address. As soon as the applicant gets the PIN, he has to submit it to the Support Portal. The PIN address will be replaced by the person's address. At present, there is a need to upload proof of new address to change the address of the people. This system will end from next year.
