Panchayat result: BJP occupying Kheda district, in front of Congress in Banaskantha
Gandhinagar: After the municipal elections, two general elections of district panchayat and 17 taluka panchayats of the state were held. Polling was held on February 21 for this election. Polling was 53% in taluka panchayat elections. In the district panchayat elections, 51 percent voting was registered. Counting of votes today has been conducted. Two district panchayats were voted on 66 seats in Banaskantha district and 44 seats in Kheda district. One seat of Banaskantha district has been non-existent. In the Banaskantha district panchayat, Congress is leading the BJP. In Banaskantha’s 66 seats, Congress got 18 and BJP got 18 seats. In Kheda district panchayat 44 out of 44 seats, BJP has won 14 and Congress has won 14 seats.
In the bypolls of five seats of J.P.
Apart from this, BJP has got 3 seats and Congress 2 in the 5 seats of the district panchayat by-elections. Earlier, Congress had 3 seats, thus BJP won 1 seat more. In which
In the districts of Tapi, Surendranagar and Bhavnagar, Congress won in Anand and Bharuch.
