Ahmedabad: The academic session of 2018-2019 will start in Gujarat a week late. The government has decided to extend the date of summer vacation. Now schools will have a vacation from 7th May to 10th June. The date of summer vacation in schools is extended in the meeting of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s Academic Council. Now all schools will have a summer vacation from 7th May to 10th June. When a new academic session from June 11 to 2018-19 will begin.
In the school, the board examinations and annual exams will be seen in the entire month, with the answer-based evaluation season. Principals, teachers in schools will be busy with a result of the run-up. On the other hand, schools have decided to start a new academic session late in one week. According to the calendar of the schooling activities of the 2017-18 education board, earlier the summer vacation period was fixed in schools from 1 May to 4th June. When the new session started from June 5, the reference was made to the schedule.
